Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of San Martino di Castrozza, Hotel Plank is a gem that combines the thrill of winter sports with the comforts of home. My recent Easter getaway here with a couple of fellow beer enthusiasts was nothing short of delightful. The views of the Pale di San Martino are absolutely breathtaking, making each morning feel like a postcard moment while sipping my coffee on the panoramic terrace. The rooms were not only beautifully appointed but also kept impeccably clean-though I must admit, receiving fresh towels a bit too frequently felt a tad indulgent. We relished the local cuisine at the hotel's restaurant, where each dish brought a taste of Trentino's culinary heritage, perfectly paired with a few craft beers from nearby microbreweries. The wellness area was a blessing after a day of skiing; I made good use of the sauna and Turkish bath, letting the stresses of everyday life simply melt away. Whether you're a seasoned skier or just exploring the slopes for the first time, there's an activity for everyone right at your doorstep. The combination of evocative landscapes and the fresh mountain air made for a thoroughly rejuvenating experience.
